Meet the team

  • SnowSnow

“My name is Snow and yes, that’s my real name. First of all, to answer any questions off hand, no, my parents are not hippies and, yes, I was named after the Disney princess Snow White. I am only 5′0″ but do not consider myself short but instead vertically challenged. I also fit in small places and use stepstools when necessary. I also love turtles. I’ve played my violin in Carnegie Hall too, and know pi to the 104th digit, if you ask.”

Snow graduated with a BFA in Communication Design and a BS in Marketing. She has worked on campaigns for Pabst Blue Ribbon and Splenda. She is a member of AIGA.

  • JonJon

“Jon is an all around good man who you should probably get to know. He likes to have fun doing what he loves, enjoys a creative challenge, any athletic competition, and referring to himself in third person on occasion. While Jon does enjoy having time alone to be creative, he also loves to get out, meet people, and be engulfed in the culture around him. He finds meaning in the work he does to bring life to all of it.”

Jon has a BFA in Communication Design with a concentration in Advertising Design. He’s designed fully integrated campaigns for Milliontrees NYC and SLSG.org. He is a member of AIGA.

  • MichaelMichael

“I don’t think of myself as a graphic designer, it’s a title that people use to explain their profession– Creative Designer or Graphic Artist would be a better fit. I enjoy the structure and rigidity of grids and typographic hierarchy, but love the playfulness and exuberance of color, and the limitless possibilities of combining all these elements to create a unique design. As for what sets me apart from others – hand-made elements have become a staple of my work. I enjoy the tactile feeling of creating with my hands, and not being tied down to technology.”

Michael completed a BFA in Graphic Design and Letterform with a concentration in Typography. He has worked extensively with UMass Dartmouth developing an identity for the new Center for Civic Engagement and the cutting-edge Leadership Minor Program. He is a member of AIGA.

  • PatrickPatrick

“Since my first box of crayons, interesting colors and designs have absorbed my life. Over the years I have increased my knowledge and still strive for excellence while pushing for new limits in every direction.”

Patrick graduated with a BFA in Graphic Design and Illustration with a concentration in Marketing and Photography. He’s designed logos for numerous organizations including British Telecommunications and the Stowe Wine & Food Classic. His work with the Stowe Wine & Food Classic has been featured in Food & Wine magazine. He is also a member of AIGA.

  • MaxMax

“I have a love for typography, printmaking and photography. My design work uses multiple materials and techniques, using both my hands and the computer. I have full understanding of branding and identity and my work utilizes clean, simple approaches, making sure the final execution is perfect.”

Max completed a BFA in Graphic Design. He’s worked with Hasbro Inc. developing logos and graphics for the NERF group and produced a poster series for the play ‘Angels in America’.

  • MonikaMonika

“I love typography and simple bold designs. I consider anything that distracts from main message of design as unnecessary. I  believe that good design is appropriate, sustainable and beautiful.”

Monika is our graphic designer working for MOO in London. She graduated from Central Saint Martin College of Art with a BA in Graphic Design and worked a freelance designer  for publishing companies and charitable organizations before joining our team in January. Ever since, we’ve kept her busy at MOO HQ.

  • JovannaJovanna

“I’m Jovanna, (it is pronounced just like Joanna, but with a V in the middle).I am extremely organised and have a healthy obsession about arranging things into grid systems and putting stuff into order. I like the idea of sticking ginormous letterforms on top of buildings, but most of all I love to see typography on the surface of paper, preferably in a book.

I believe in books, both as a format and as an immortal medium for keeping information for centuries. I love the smell of old library books and ink. I think that the index bit is the best part of the book and my favourite colour is brown.”

Jovanna graduated from Central Saint Martins College of Art with a MA in Graphic Design, Communication Design. Since graduating she has been designing exhibition catalogues for London art galleries and worked at a Signage company specializing in wayfinding, information design and brand implementation.
